The structure of this typeface is loosely inspired by ancient Greek architecture and Arabic caligraphy. The main structure of the typeface is overly condensed, suited best for display purposes, but designed with large scale format in mind.

Special characters display elongated descenders and accented spurs, mimicking the drama of post and lintel Greek architecture. “Homilia” translates to “speech” in ancient Greek.
